On Thursday 13th February, CSVPA in partnership with The Fitzwilliam Museum will be hosting a special Museum Late event alongside their ‘Glenn Ligon: All Over The Place’ exhibition.
The Fitzwilliam Late event will be co-curated by BA students from CSVPA including contributions from current students across Foundation & BA courses, alongside the work of the Graduate School, giving an insight into the spectrum of creativity on offer at CSVPA. Alumni, staff and creative practitioners have created and curated work to sit alongside the Ligon exhibition and permanent collections, culminating in a unique event offering a different perspective on both our students’ work and the Fitzwilliam.
The multimedia event will include live fashion installations, panel discussions, live performance, audience participation in live creative artworks and interactive displays, music, screenings of film and animation, live drawing workshops, displays of alumni work amongst much more.
A unique opportunity to view the current exhibition, Glenn Ligon: All Over The Place, and engage with student and staff responses to the work and spaces within the Fitz.
WHEN: Thursday 13th February – 18:30 to 21:00
WHERE: Fitzwilliam Museum, Trumpington St, Cambridge CB2 1RB
Tickets can be booked from the Fitzwilliam Museum’s website.
