Lourens Bouwer

Lecturer - Pattern-cutter - BA (Hons) Fashion

Norfolk-based Lourens Bouwer is a pattern cutter, bespoke manufacturer and shopkeeper working at the premium end of the fashion industry. His experience includes working with Lulu Guinness, ASOS White, Finery London, LK Bennett, Fenn Wright Manson and Boden.

Lourens’s current work draws on heritage skills and the artisanal methods used in the production of bespoke clothing. Since 2019 he has run a shop and studio on the North Norfolk coast, where he currently collaborates and works with small British brands and is focused on local organic manufacturing. He has worked within the School of Fashion at CSVPA since 2015.
