CAMBRIDGE ACCOMMODATION
At CSVPA we provide student accommodation for all years of study allowing you to focus on the important things, discovering Cambridge, making friends and getting the most out of your studies. We provide a range of accommodation options for students aged both under and 18 with a range of catering plans.

Across all our halls of residence we provide you the personal living space and everything you need to make the space feel like your own. All of our accommodation provides you with a single occupancy living space with ensuite private bathroom. Rooms are designed to give you ample storage space and a canvas to personalise with those little reminders and touches from home. Free Wi-Fi is also provided throughout.

YOUR LIVING SPACE
Most of our accommodation is organised into clusters, where between 6 and 8 rooms in a cluster share a common kitchen/dining area, where you can prepare food, socialise with fellow students and generally relax. The kitchens provide cooking and washing up facilities, as well as fridges / freezers and other food storage areas. Most of our residences also have a central shared common room for students to come together socialise and forge lifelong friendships.
The residences are monitored 24 hours a day to maintain security, and a 24hr hotline service is available in the event of an emergency.
BEDDING AND LAUNDRY
Bed linen is provided for all our catered students, so unless you are staying with us on a self-catered basis all you will need to bring with you is your own towel! Our catered students also benefit from having their rooms cleaned on a regular basis as well as fresh linen provided every week. If you have opted for self-catering, your room will be serviced once a month. The residences all contain washing machines for students to use free of charge, and washing powder and detergent are also provided free.
CSVPA ACCOMMODATION GUIDE
CATERING
All our students aged under 18-year-old must stay on our catered accommodation service, whereby breakfast, lunch and dinner are all provided in our central canteen at our main building at Round Church Street. We aim to provide a varied and interesting range of food to suit, as far as is possible, our broad range of nationalities.
Students aged over 18 have the choice of staying with us on a catered or self-catered basis.
The coffee bar at Bridge House offers freshly made sandwiches, hot and cold snacks, confectionary and a range of hot and cold drinks. The cafe at Sturton Street also offers continental breakfast, fresh salad bar and daily soup alongside both hot and cold sandwiches, snacks, confectionary and a range of hot and cold drinks.
UNDER 18s BOARDING
Any student, under the age of 18 studying at CSVPA must live in our dedicated under 18 halls at Varsity House where we focus on maintaining a safe, secure and carefully monitored environment for our younger students.
We put a strong emphasis on pastoral care at CSVPA and all under 18 boarding is managed by our highly trained team of professional house parents. Students from CSVPA staying at Varsity House will have the joint benefit of living with fellow creative arts students but also the opportunity to interact with students from our sister school at CATS Cambridge.
VARSITY HOUSE
At Varsity House we offer both a fully supervised halls of residence for our younger students alongside our external blocks where students aged over 18 are able to enjoy the student independent living experience knowing that there is help on hand 24/7 from the house parent team onsite if they need them. It is a great transition for living on your own away from home where you can enjoy your student experience in a safe, relaxing and friendly environment.
Location:
Varsity House is only a 7-minute cycle ride to CSVPA on Round Church Street and the centre of Cambridge. Perfectly located, students can chose between a 7 minute cycle ride or walking to the top of the road from which buses leave every 10 minutes. For those students looking to take in the beautiful and inspirational setting of Cambridge, you might decide to take the short one mile walk past the stunning Midsummer Common, taking in the sights of Jesus College. For our Performing Arts students there’s no excuses to be late for class, with the CSVPA Sturton Street studios located just one minute from the halls!
Support:
Providing a comprehensive support network including a team of highly experienced live-in house parents, fully staffed reception, an onsite medical centre, with access to a UK registered Nurse, our students thrive living in this family-orientated residence that’s located within easy reach of CSVPA.

Each student room has a bed, wardrobe, desk and plenty of under-bed storage and drawers. Our rooms are en-suite with private bathroom facilities. Free WiFi is available for students. Each hall has its own communal kitchen and lounge/dining area where students can make snacks. The courtyard offers seating and two outdoor table tennis tables, and the common room has a pool table.

BATIM HOUSE
Batim House has a total of 29 rooms all single en-suite. The residence has three fully fitted kitchens, laundry facilities and two large furnished common rooms contained within the three storey building. This is a new residence which has been completely refurbished. The residence has a warden who lives on site and will be able to assist you and help you settle in.
Location
Perfectly located, Batim House is only a 7 minute cycle ride to CSVPA on Round Church Street. For those students looking to take in the beautiful and inspirational setting of Cambridge, you might decide to take the short one mile walk past the stunning Midsummer Common, taking in the sights of Jesus College. For our Performing Arts students there’s no excuses to be late for class, with the new CSVPA dance studios located a 5 minute walk from the halls!
The Grafton Centre, one of three main shopping areas in Cambridge is only a 6 minute walk away and is a perfect destination for shopping, dining, grabbing a coffee with friends or for catching a movie at the 8 screen, all-leather reclining seated Vue Cinema. Fancy a stroll along the beautiful River Cam and relax with friends in one of Cambridge’s many parks? You can be there within a 10 minute walk from your accommodation.
Cambridge train station is only a 20 minute walk and with Central London just 45 minutes away by train, and London Stansted Airport a 20 minute commute, our location inspires many with endless opportunities on your doorstep.

MASTER'S HOUSE
The primary accommodation for CSVPA students aged 18 and over is at Master’s House. Designed with your needs in mind, we aim to provide safe and secure accommodation but under more university style conditions, appropriate to our older students.
Location
You could not ask for a more picturesque journey to college every morning. Master’s House is only an eight minute cycle ride from CSVPA but your journey will take you over the River Cam and through Jesus Green, one of the most beautiful parks in Cambridge where you will find tennis courts, band concerts on a summer Sunday afternoon, an outdoor swimming pool and BBQ area.
Master’s House is the perfect social space where students gather together to take in the inspirational sights and sounds of Cambridge. Alternatively if you want to catch a bus you can be door-to-door in 14 minutes. Being a creative arts student in Cambridge and having your accommodation and College so close to each other allows you to get the most out of your time here. Whether that is giving you the opportunity to spend more time in the studios working or time to explore Cambridge and hang out with your friends.
Cambridge is hard to beat for something amazing to see and do. From cinemas and theatres showing a range of art house, independent, foreign and commercial films, to museums, concert venues, and a wonderful choice of shopping and nightlife in what is a vibrant cosmopolitan city.
