Course Leader at Graduate School Digital Media Lab and Extended Diploma.

Having spent the better part of her adult life within the education industry Thea has been teaching Game Design, Film and Animation with CSVPA since 2019, she has now settled into the Game Design pathway and working with the MA and Graduate Diploma students helping them with all things digital.

With a skillset ranging from Audio Engineering to 3D Modelling, Animation and Unreal Engine, Thea is well versed in many aspects of the industry and prepares students for University or apprenticeships with a level of professionalism and academic prowess that would be expected of students at a higher level. 

Thea has worked at the University of Hertfordshire teaching Professional Development, World Building and Motion Capture to Games, Animation and VFX Students. She has studied Games Art and Design to a Masters level at the University of Hertfordshire, and obtained a BA(hons) in Digital Animation from Falmouth University in 2011. She also did a stint as an Assistant Producer with The Charactershop, an animation company based in Birmingham, UK.  

Outside of education, Thea runs a Live Action Roleplay Company; The Wayfarer Chronicles. Which has been running events since 2017. She is an avid writer and lover of narrative, having developed cinematic narrative experiences from a young age up until now.
