One of CSVPA’s BA Graphics and Illustration graduates has been recognised by the Association of Illustrators for her amazing illustration work. Hear her story!

We are incredibly proud of our recent graduate Anastasia Grisheave who was selected by the Association of Illustrators as one of the top 15 illustrators to graduate in the UK this year.  This is a huge accolade from a world-renowned organisation.

Her work, which has drawn a lot of interest in the industry is an illustration based on a character from a Russian fairy tale, The Tale of the Golden Cockerel by A.S. Pushkin.  Anastasia interpretation of the Cockerel is a powerful, loud and heroic character.  The design was created as though it was a theatre costume.

Anastasia Grisheave’s  illustration has won her a lot of acclaim

“Illustration to me is a way to express my ideas and emotions. Sometimes it is the easiest or even the only way for me to do it. Also, it is the only thing I enjoy doing so much. Time flies by unnoticed when I hold a pencil, or scissors and tape in this case.”
