TJ is a music educator and musical theatre composer from the greater Boston area. As the Performing Arts Director, he teaches music courses and directs the annual musical. TJ holds graduate and bachelor’s degrees in music education from Boston University (M.M.) and Berklee College of Music (B.M.). Previously, TJ taught elementary school music for Woburn Public Schools, and he worked as a teacher and administrator for the performing arts team at The American School in Switzerland’s summer programs. TJ sings and plays both trumpet and piano. He is an avid musical theatre composer, having been commissioned to write musicals performed at The American School in Switzerland, Woburn Public Schools, CATS Academy Boston, Children’s Stage Adventures, The REV Theatre Company (formerly Merry-Go-Round Youth Theatre), and Auburn Players Community Theatre, where the Theatre Association of New York State awarded him Meritorious Achievement in New Works Development for a musical he co-wrote, titled Sketch.
