Coronavirus (COVID‑19) Guidance

Lastest Guidance and Measures

From 18 March onwards, people travelling to the UK from abroad do not need to take any COVID-19 tests or fill in a passenger locator form when travelling. This applies to passengers regardless of whether they are fully vaccinated or not.

From 24 February 2022 onwards, COVID-19 testing is no longer free in England. Instead, with the help of the school nurse, tests can be purchased locally for students who display COVID-19 symptoms. Please note that students will need to pay for their own COVID-19 tests.

From 12 April 2022 onwards, weekly COVID-19 testing and contract tracing for students came to an end. However, we will continue to test students who are displaying COVID-19 systems. Students under the age of 18 who test positive will need to isolate for 3 days until they have 2 negative Lateral Flow Tests, or up to 5 days if they are still producing a positive result. Students over 18 years old will need to isolate for 5 days and provide 2 negative Lateral Flow Tests to leave self-isolation. We will also continue to test students identified as close contacts of positive students.

From the start of the Summer Term onwards, facemask wearing is optional for all students.

Increased cleaning in communal areas during the day will continue to take place.

Our on-site medical staff will continue to monitor the health and wellbeing of our college community. They have long-established relationships with local doctors and healthcare advisers, which are based at medical practices within a short distance of each campus.
