Pre-Master's Art & Design

Extended Pre-Master's Art & Design
If you would like to study this course, but do not yet have the required English language level, you can instead follow the Extended Pre-Master's Art & Design.
The extended programme combines the practice and theoretical study of the Pre-Master's programme with 1 or 2 terms of pure English Language, allowing students to reach the English and academic level necessary for entry to a UK Master's degree.

About the course
Lecturer: Fine Art
Issam Kourbaj, Artist in Residence at Christ's College, Cambridge University
Issam is a sculptor, painter and theatre designer based in Cambridge. He studied in Damscus under the well-known Syrian artist Fateh Moudarres (d.1999), before completing his training in St Petersburg and London.
Some of his work is in the collections of the Department of Middle East and the Department of Prints & Drawings of the British Museum; he has exhibited on three continents.
Since 1989 he has lived in Cambridge and is now a Bye-Fellow at Christ's College and Artist in Residence there. For the past five years his work has drawn inspiration from the world of science.
