Cambridge School of Visual & Performing Arts is a private institution therefore in order to help our students fund their studies with us; we have put together a number of different options to help make life a little easier.

Student Finance England - 2017-18

Cambridge School of Visual & Performing Arts is designated each year by the Department for Education.

BA(Hons) Fashion has been approved for the 2017-18 academic year, which means that students from England & the EU are able to claim tuition fees loan upto £6,165.  Students from England can also claim maintenance loans.


 Student Finance England 2018-19

Cambridge School of Visual & Performing Arts is designated each year by the Department for Education.  We have applied for designation for September 2018 and are waiting for a decision.  Until the decision is received we are unable to confirm the availability and amount of student support.


Future Finance

Future Finance is an alternative source of financing for students*
The features of Future Finance loans are:

  • they offer loans to all CSVPA students with a UK domiciled address (assuming they meet appropriate credit checks and are 18 or over), irrelevant to which level of study
  • loans are offered from £2,000 to £40,000, and can include living costs as well as tuition fees
  • loans are repayable up to 10 years and three months after graduation
  • students can apply for up to four payment breaks of 3 months each during the loan period
  • representative 10.9% APR (variable) (as of September 2015).
